AEO — answer-first content structure
This is a practice framework, not a client case study. It sets out how I approach Answer Engine Optimisation: structuring content, markup, and on-page signals so pages are eligible to be surfaced as direct answers — in featured snippets, People-Also-Ask, and voice and answer experiences.
01Question-led content mapping
Content is planned from the questions people actually ask — each page targets a clear question set, answers it directly in the opening, and expands with depth afterwards.
02Structure & markup
Headings mirror query phrasing, answers are self-contained and quotable, and schema (FAQ, HowTo, Article, Organization) makes the structure machine-readable.
03Source quality & trust signals
Author attribution, citations, and consistency across the site give answer engines reasons to select the page over thinner alternatives.
04Semantic internal linking
Related questions and topics are linked with descriptive anchors, building the topical connections engines use to judge coverage.
05Selected screenshots & visuals
Worked examples will be published here as this practice area grows.

08What I learned
Answer engines reward the same thing readers do — a direct answer up front, with the depth to back it.
